The Ultimate Guide to an Awesome Canada Day

Canadians have gone virtually and “socially distanced” creative to mark the 153rd Canada Day birthday this year, by keeping no more than 50 people gatherings and observing social distancing in the “new” true Canadian way. North Water has taken the guess work out of what you can do with your loved ones in your city and at home as we uphold our Canadian values of unity, tolerance, and peace.

West Vancouver Rooftop Performances – Immerse into the sounds of West Vancouver’s Canada Day celebrations in the comfort of your home. Several rooftop performances are scheduled to take place in Ambleside, Dundarave and the Horseshoe Bay area for July 1 and you’ll be able to hear the bands from your home though you won’t be able to see them. At 7 p.m., after the performances wrap, residents are invited to stand in their yards or balconies to join a community-wide singalong of O Canada, after cheering healthcare workers.

No doubt it has been a year of surprises and how we celebrate this day is no doubt with gratitude and charity. As True Canadians we bounce back and celebrate all that we have and give thanks to all that is in store for us.

With glowing hearts
We see thee rise
The True North, strong and free
From far and wide
O Canada
We stand on guard for thee

Happy Canada Day!
